The next activity I got to do after the USA vs. Mexico game was a family activity. We went to see Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
To many of you this kind of activity might not be a big deal because that’s what you do every Friday night. But to me, not only was it a big deal, it made me feel lucky and proud to have shared these moments with them. Plus, it was nice to finally agree on an activity with my sister, Nieves.
Because my family is big (there are 6 kids), it takes double the time to get ready so we’re always running late. I had planned to meet my friend Erika and Peter that night for dinner. Before I left the house I said to my sister, “Please leave the house no later than 6:30 p.m. so we can get good seats.” At this point I’m planning to enjoy my dinner because I am trusting that my family will be in line or seated by the time I get there. As you can all imagine, that didn’t happen. My niece informed me that they had just arrived and were at the very end of the line. So I say good bye to my friends and I walk over to the theater. When I walked in and walked to the theater room I noticed they had just started to let people in. So I casually cut in the front of the line and without any problem made it inside. I picked a nice row, I spread my purse and other items and I saved 9 seats. When my family finally walked in they were happy to see me but specially happy to see the 8 empty seats with the great view.
We had a wonderful time.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon was awesome. The story line is great, the actors are good, and the special effects are awesome. In my opinion I believe Transformer movies are the best series of movies. I have loved every single one.
One of the highlights of the night was the Harry Potter preview. For the first time my younger niece and nephews got to see the preview on big screen and experience the excitement that comes from the Potter Heads.
